Who we are
Family Buys has a single editor, writing as Frank Jones (a pen name). The site is editorial research and curation. Products are not personally tested.
How products are chosen
- Only products currently listed on Amazon UK, matched to the exact listing title
- Compared using published manufacturer specs, age guidance and safety standards
- Every product is checked against the GOV.UK Product Safety Database. Relevant recalls and safety reports are shown prominently, or the product is swapped
- Health statements are sourced from the NHS. Safe-sleep statements are sourced from the NHS and The Lullaby Trust
Rankings
Rankings are editorial opinion based on published specs, not hands-on testing. Commission never affects them.
Infant and follow-on formula
We never rank, recommend or link to first infant formula or follow-on formula. Follow-on milks appear only as neutral, unlinked information.
Affiliate links
Links labelled Ad are Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. See our affiliate disclosure.
